Iranian Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has called for strict punishment for anyone accused of cooperating with Israel, instructing prosecutors nationwide not to hesitate in seizing or confiscating related assets.
In strongly worded remarks, Ejei emphasized firm judicial action against individuals alleged to have links or cooperation with Israel.
He also addressed members of the Iranian diaspora, saying those who feel personally affected by what he described as “aggression” may return to Iran, but should not expect preferential treatment.
The comments suggest a dual strategy by Iran’s judiciary: intensifying domestic legal enforcement while also sending a political signal to Iranians abroad.
The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and an already elevated internal security atmosphere, where judicial rhetoric often intersects with broader state security priorities.
