Following Hormuz Tensions, IRGC Navy Says Strait Will Not Reopen for US and Israel

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy says the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its previous status, particularly for the United States and Israel.

In a statement, the force said it is implementing a plan directed by Iranian authorities to establish a “new order” in the Persian Gulf.

The announcement comes as US President Donald Trump has set a deadline, saying Iran has until Tuesday evening to reopen the strait or face strikes on key infrastructure.

Tensions over the strategic waterway have intensified in recent days, raising concerns about wider regional escalation.

The claims and warnings from both sides have not been independently verified.
