Saudi Arabia Says It Intercepted Iranian Missiles and Drones

Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry says its air defense forces intercepted six missiles and 34 drones launched from Iran overnight.

According to Saudi officials, the missiles were intercepted in the Al-Kharj area where Prince Sultan Air Base is located.

Authorities also said Iranian drones were shot down near oil facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia and around the capital Riyadh.

Officials reported no immediate casualties or damage from the attacks.
