Hamas has announced that it executed a resident of the Gaza Strip on charges of collaborating with Israel.
In a statement, the group alleged that the man had provided intelligence to Israel and played a role in the deaths of several senior Hamas commanders, including Izz al-Din Haddad, whom Hamas identified as a commander in its military wing.
According to Hamas, the individual supplied information about the group’s leaders and activities, helping Israel carry out targeted operations against senior members of the organization.
Israeli authorities have not commented on Hamas’ claims.
