A group of Afghan journalists has issued a joint statement calling for the immediate and unconditional release of three detained media workers.

The journalists, identified as Shakeeb Nazari, Hamid Farhadi, and Bashir Hatef, have reportedly been held for more than nine months without access to a transparent legal process.
