Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent surgery to remove a malignant tumor.
The information became public following the release of his annual medical report.
In a message posted on social media, Netanyahu said doctors detected the tumor at an early stage and that treatment was successful, with the condition now fully resolved.
He stated that he is currently in “very good health.”
Netanyahu also explained that the disclosure of his medical records had been delayed due to wartime conditions, citing concerns over potential political or propaganda misuse.
The announcement comes ahead of his planned visit to the White House, as diplomatic efforts continue regarding the ongoing regional crisis.
The timing of the disclosure has drawn attention, given its intersection with both security developments and high-level political engagements.
