Local sources say a female nurse from Tajikistan has been killed in a shooting by unknown gunmen in Kunduz province.
According to the sources, the woman was working as a midwife and nurse providing healthcare services to women.
She was shot on Saturday in the center of Imam Sahib district and died at the scene.
Sources identified the victim as Adolat Hamidi and said her body has been transferred to Tajikistan for burial.
Taliban authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
