Iran Says Trade With Afghanistan Continues Without Disruption

Alireza Bikdeli, acting head of Iran’s embassy in Kabul, says trade between Iran and Afghanistan is continuing without interruption.

According to a statement from the Iranian embassy, Bikdeli said on Saturday that Iran has introduced special facilities at border crossings to make imports and exports between the two countries easier.

He added that economic cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan has continued over the past 48 years despite wars and foreign interventions.

Bikdeli said Iran’s diplomatic missions are working at full capacity to support traders and maintain bilateral trade.
