
Data from South Korea’s customs agency shows Afghanistan was the third-largest importer of sweetened carbonated drinks from the country in 2025.
According to figures reported by TASS, Afghanistan imported beverages worth $13.4 million.
Cambodia ranked first with $56.5 million, followed by Russia with $19.1 million.
The data also shows Afghanistan held the third position in 2019 among major importers.
In the first two months of 2026, Afghanistan ranked second with imports worth $3.1 million, behind Cambodia and ahead of Russia.
The figures indicate sustained demand for South Korean soft drinks in Afghanistan and the wider region.
