A senior Iranian military commander has warned that US forces would be pushed back to a time “before the Stone Age.”
According to Iran’s state broadcaster, Ali Jahanshahi, commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces, made the remarks in a message addressed to US troops.
He said Iranian special forces have been undergoing intensive training for years and are fully prepared.
The commander added that “Iran’s soil will be the graveyard of aggressors,” stressing that the country’s forces are ready to respond to any threats.
The remarks come as tensions between Iran and the United States have increased in recent weeks.
