Widows in Kunduz province say they have been deprived of humanitarian assistance for months despite urgent need.
In interviews with media, they said aid distribution is limited, irregular and often dependent on lists and intermediaries.
Some women say their names have not been included in beneficiary lists despite repeated attempts, making access to assistance difficult.
They added that rising food prices have worsened their situation, leaving them facing serious economic hardship.
Religious scholars and legal experts say supporting widows and vulnerable women is recognized as a fundamental right under Islamic principles, national laws and international frameworks.
However, reports indicate that in practice, limited aid, lack of transparency and the role of intermediaries continue to hinder access for many of these women.
