The UN refugee agency says thousands of Afghan migrants are returning from Iran as tensions escalate in the country.
In a post on X, UNHCR said many families are once again facing displacement and urgently need support.
The agency warned that Afghanistan is already dealing with multiple crises.
It also stressed the need to protect civilians, ensure access to humanitarian aid and keep borders open for those in need.
