
The United Nations Human Rights Office has called for a transparent and independent investigation into a deadly explosion at a rehabilitation center in Kabul.
UN human rights spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan said the findings of the investigation should be made public.
He added that the victims of the incident and their families have the right to receive compensation.
Reports in recent days have indicated significant casualties following the attack on a drug treatment facility in Kabul, prompting widespread domestic and international reactions.
