French President Emmanuel Macron said France will not take part in the war in the Middle East.
In a message on X, Macron responded to concerns about the consequences of recent US and Israeli attacks on Iran, saying France would not be involved in the conflict.
“We are not at war and we will not be part of this war,” Macron wrote.
He added that France will protect its citizens and allies while continuing to support Lebanon amid rising tensions in the region.
