Local sources say Pakistani airstrikes have targeted several Taliban positions in Kandahar province.
According to the sources, the strikes hit the Taliban Air Brigade, the Third Border Police Battalion, and parts of the 205 Al-Badr Corps.
Sources in Kandahar say at least four people, including three women, were killed in parts of Spin Boldak district.
Taliban authorities have not issued an official response. The development comes as clashes between Taliban forces and Pakistan enter their seventh day. Casualty figures reported by both sides have not been independently verified.
