Pakistan President: Military Operations Against Taliban Yield Results

پاکستان از نتایج عملیات علیه طالبان خبر داد؛ احتمال تشدید درگیری‌ها با پایان آتش‌بس

Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari says recent military operations against Taliban groups have produced significant results.

In a statement marking Pakistan Day, he said those supporting terrorism will be “completely eliminated.”

Zardari described Pakistan’s message to militant groups in Afghanistan as clear, saying no group, including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, will be allowed to use Afghan soil for attacks.

He added that the ongoing military campaign, named “Ghaza-e-Haq,” has achieved notable gains and that Pakistan will continue decisive action to secure its borders.

The remarks come as a temporary ceasefire between the Taliban and Pakistan, brokered by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, nears its end.

Reports suggest the risk of renewed clashes is rising, with both sides accusing each other of ceasefire violations.
